Our client are a medium sized engineering firm who are looking for a multi skilled manual Turner/borer/machinist to join the team on a permanent basis.
Duties of the role will include :
- Bias on turning majority of machining on manual centre lathe producing shafts, sleeves, spacers, etc.
- Machining cast parts to drawing such as impellers, bearing housings, casings.
- General milling including keyways and slots
- Vertical borer machining
- Remove and replace case wear rings and bushes
The role is 37.5 hours per week on days from Monday to Friday 7:30am- 4pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays. Overtime is available paid at time half and a time, double time on a Sunday.
