We are now recruiting for a Machine Operative for our client, based in the Ilkeston area. This is initially an on-going, temporary role, working days . Working in a engineering/workshop environment, this role has the potential to become permanent
Duties
- Operating manual machinery (including boring, milling and lathe machines)
- Some welding duties
- Using verniers and callipers
What we require from you -
- Previous machining (particularly boring machines)/engineering experience, and able to work in a dusty/noisy environment
- Welding experience preferable
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Able to work days (Monday - Friday)
07:00 - 15:30pm Monday to Thursdays / Friday 14:30pm Finish
09:00 18:30pm Monday to Thursdays / Friday 16:00 Finish
