Quality Manager Overview:
As the Quality Manager, your role is to assist the Senior Quality Manager in overseeing quality matters, managing quality professionals, and ensuring compliance with the quality management system. Responsibilities include monitoring KPI metrics, developing and implementing best practices, and maintaining independence to challenge management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assure effective quality management systems meet stakeholder requirements.
* Enhance the quality culture through communication and engagement.
* Confirm product compliance through certification and verification.
* Establish and implement a graded Quality Assurance & Quality Control program.
* Develop and implement a risk-based assurance plan for internal and supply chain processes.
* Escalate quality issues and lead inspections, audits, and investigations.
* Report Key Performance Indicators to identify deviations and opportunities for improvement.
* Implement improvement plans and ensure compliance with internal processes.
* Develop project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
* Contribute to project meetings and liaise with customers on quality matters.
* Support internal and external audits, challenging compromises in quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 2:2 STEM degree or equivalent experience.
* Member of the CQI with at least 10 years of quality-related experience.
* Previous management experience, preferably in the Nuclear Industry.
* Trained Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) with detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 systems.
* Self-motivated with a good understanding of corporate strategy.
* Familiarity with construction or civil engineering standards.
* Strong team management, planning, and time management skills.
* Ability to work both on and off-site, including occasional travel.
