The School and Role

A large secondary school seeks to appoint a Geography Teacher to work on a fixed term contract from as soon as possible until the end of the summer term in July 2024. The successful Geography Teacher will be responsible for teaching Geography to pupils in KS3 and KS4. Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role, the school will consider candidates of other teaching specialisms that have experience of teaching Geography.

This secondary school is based in a coastal town in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The school is approximately a 30 minute commute from Hull. Senior Leaders and all school staff work hard to ensure that this school forms a central part of its community.

Requirements

The desired Geography Teacher will have;

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Experience of teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4.

- A passion for the progress of secondary aged pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
