Planner Overview:
This is a compelling and senior role within the project controls team, seeking a proactive individual with substantial experience in Civils Construction. The ideal candidate should possess expertise spanning from design and procurement to installation, grounded in practical construction experience on various projects. A comprehensive understanding of construction sequences and EPC projects is preferred to effectively engage with and challenge key delivery partners overseeing the works.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is anticipated, along with a solid grasp of 3D BIM models and detailed reporting through the Earned Value Management system. NEC experience is essential, showcasing a practical understanding of change management and regular acceptance of the program.
Part of this roles involves collaboration with the project delivery team and managing interfaces with key delivery partners. Remote working, one or two days a week, can be considered in consultation with the project team.
As a Senior Planner, your responsibilities include providing planning management and support for both pre-contract and contract operations. This opportunity offers exposure to a complex project, incorporating extensive use of 4D visualization and utilization of 3D models provided by the design team, alongside detailed progress reporting and EVM.
Responsibilities:
* Offer planning management and support for pre-contract and contract operations.
* Coordinate with bid and construction teams to manage planning and programming aspects for bid proposals and ongoing projects.
* Produce, manage, and update the construction program, communicating it effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage and integrate change events into the construction program, collaborating with the commercial team to secure full entitlement under the contract.
* Effectively track design deliverables and update procurement schedules.
* Demonstrate proficiency in EVM and the reporting process.
* Proactively utilize QSRA and manage risks.
* Provide mentoring and coaching to assistant planners and planners.
