The Role
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team, specializing in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Water Companies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing complex solutions, specifically in MDMS, AMI, SaaS, Smart meters, head-end systems and APIs.
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining technical solutions and developing architectural roadmaps for our water industry clients.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Water Companies domain, business processes, and technical infrastructure.
* Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and provide recommendations for system and software solutions.
* Design and implement technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with architectural principles.
* Provide and present documented technical solutions and reports for internal and external use
* Define and maintain architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices for the Water Companies domain.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team in the implementation of integrated software solutions.
* Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with projects and provide solutions to minimize these risks.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and team members.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* At least 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on Water Companies.
* Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex solutions, including AMI, MDMS, Cloud (Azure or AWS), and APIs.
* Knowledge of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in the Water Companies domain such us NB-IoT and LoRaWAN.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
* Experience working with Agile methodologies.
* Experience with APIs and/or Middleware platforms such as MuleSoft is a plus.
* Azure Certification is a plus.
