Having recently expanded upon services within Birmingham they are currently looking for Support Workers to help contribute to the high-quality service they provide to those in need. Could that be you?

Vacancy Brief:

* Our client is seeking a Floating Housing support worker in a four-month fixed term basis with the potential for an extension.

* This vacancy is full time, 37.5 hours per week.

* Working Pattern: 9am-5pm hours, no work on weekends of bank holidays

* This vacancy is based in Birmingham.

* Excellent pay rate: candidates will be paid £11.20 PAYE Or £14.20 per hour Umbrella.

* Candidate must have 2 years Floating Support experience for this job role.

* The role is subject to an enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult workforce.

* Full UK Drivers License and access to a vehicle is essential.

The Duties & Responsibilities:

* As a Housing Support Worker, you will ensure the support is delivered in response to the clients needs and allows them to maintain accommodation and improve health and wellbeing outcomes.

* Part of your job role will be advocate on behalf of young people on issues such as, benefits, housing rights etc.

* In your job role as a Floating Housing Support worker, you will ensure benefit claims are made and maintained to maximise young peoples income, provide support with budgeting, debt advice and complete applications for small grants.

* As a Floating Housing Support Worker, you will be required to work with young people with complex and multiple needs to help them to sustain tenancies and manage their lives better.
