Job Title: SEN Casework assistant

Pay Rate: £18 Umbrella P/H

The role

The post holder is required to support the Special Educational Needs Team manager, Senior SEN case officers and SEN case Officers in the efficient and effective delivery of the statutory functions of the Local Authority with regards to children and Young People with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and the Annual Review process.

The candidate

Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice (2014)
Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and respond to competing demands
A sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (2014)
To have a methodical approach to work with an ability to manage workloads and produce high quality work
An understanding of the LA requirements for amending Education Health and Care Plans and relevant legislation.
