Scottish Power Renewables are looking for a Construction Support Project Manager to join their East Anglia Three project on a long term contract basis.
Role: Construction Support Project Manager
Business: Scottish Power Renewables - East Anglia Three
Duration: Initial contract until 31st Dec 2024 with extension in line with the project
Location: Lowestoft - office based
Rate: Inside IR35, Umbrella and PAYE options available
Main Purpose of Job
The position will work within the project Construction team reporting to the project Construction Manager.
Lead procurement activities on behalf of team liaising with relevant project / business departments including all Construction team iBuy processes.
Management of the tender process for a number of key Construction Contracts prior to Contract award.
Following Contract award, the role will be to support a number of key Construction Contracts during the
Construction phase, such as Client Representatives, CTVs, Construction Services, Integrated Marine
Package etc., on behalf of the Construction team.
Responsibility to ensure Construction team cost forecasting and records are up to date and correct at all stages of the project.
Support the Construction team with tasks relating to the installation and Commissioning phases of the project across all packages.
Directly support all packages with onshore and offshore logistic planning and implementation.
Ensure Q&HSE policies and procedures are maintained during the offshore works.
Support daily coordination and planning of the works between the different contractors.
Support the handover process on behalf of the Construction team.
Key Criteria
Must hold and maintain full GWO training, and offshore medical certificates
Significant administrative background
Advanced Business Administration skills
Advanced awareness of Health and Safety related to construction
Proven ability to work in a construction sites environment and
Excellent IT Skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, to collaborate effectively with the wider project team including third parties, contractors, and subcontractors.
