You will be joining a charity that have won awards for being a great employer (best companies / investors in people), and working as part of the prison team delivering IAG within HMP Exeter (a category B men's prison). You will create action
plans for your caseload, which will assess their qualifications, literacy and numeracy, work experience and their long and short term goals.
You will then provide one to one coaching and support, as well as group work such as CV writing workshops and non-accredited qualifications. A lot of the focus would also be towards personal development, motivational progress, distance learning from Open University, mentoring, and soft skills. This is a nice role.
No demanding KPIs or targets.
And if you have a passion for supporting offenders to rehabilitate then this will be a great fit. You need to be able to work independently and be able to manage your own diary this is crucial.
